Rubi Wellness: Brand Identity for a Nutrition Practice
Client & scope
Rubi Wellness is the integrative nutrition and health coaching practice of Silva Barrasso, RDN, LDN, based in Beverly, Massachusetts and licensed across several states. Design Land built the brand from the mark outward: logo and identity system, business cards and practice brochures, a templated social content library for Instagram and LinkedIn, branded apparel, and a full brand guidelines book with an editable logo kit.
Silva’s practice is built on a personalized, mind-body approach to nutrition — prevention-first care that meets people where they are and helps them build lasting, healthier habits. The brand had to feel as warm, credible and encouraging as she is in the room.
“I believe a healthy lifestyle is the best medicine.” — Silva Barrasso, RDN, LDN
The problem
Credentials do not communicate on their own. Silva’s method is integrative and personal — nutrition, psychology and movement treated as one system — but a practice that looks like a medical office says none of that, and one that looks like a wellness blog says the wrong thing. She also needed to show up consistently on social, in print and on merch without commissioning a designer for every piece.
What we did
We built an identity that reads as clinical and warm at once: a twelve-petal bloom mark drawn as interlocking leaves, an open slab-serif wordmark, the line “Feeding change, one bite at a time,” and a hot pink, rose and deep plum palette with an orange-to-plum sunrise gradient for social. The system was extended into business cards, rack-card brochures, a library of Instagram post and Reels templates Silva fills herself, LinkedIn assets, and branded hoodies and tees. We then documented the whole system in a brand guidelines book — logo versions, color combinations, clear space, typography, voice and applications — with a matching SVG logo kit, so every printer, developer and social helper works from the same rules.
What happened
The identity has held. The bloom still fronts the practice — on Silva’s website, her cards and brochures, and the apparel added later — and the templates and brand book let her publish in her own brand without a designer in the loop for every post. See the brand live at rubiwellness.com.
